Such a great place, I’ve been here since 1st year and have made great use of the amenities like the free gym, cinema room and study rooms. The study rooms are really handy during exam season as it saves me from the stress of trying to find a space on campus or the trek itself. The staff have always been really nice hence why I’ve rebooked for my 4th year as well! & I’ve not had flatmate issues since living here either. I’ve been in different room types yet always shared with 2 others and it’s been a pleasant experience. Maintenance can take a while to resolve depending on the query but it hasn’t been too bad as all my queries eventually got resolved. They also have some events throughout the year like get togethers as well as soap making classes and curry nights. I would definitely recommend this accommodation! :)

It has been an amazing stay at Victoria point with the calm and peaceful surroundings. But the main thing is the welcoming staff that made my experience at Manchester to have a warm welcome with one of the staff helping me carry my stuff to the fourth floor which was my first encounter after arriving at the airport, I also want to mention Kaide who is a humble and helpful brother who I enjoy to have a quick chat with. Overall everything is nice and tidy with nice gym and peaceful common spaces with entertainments. I would recommend it without a doubt. Thank you team Victoria point, best wishes to all of you.

Victoria Point Manchester is by far one of the BEST student accommodations in the city. From its centralised yet quiet feeling location, to the wonderful and friendly staff members. There really isnt anywhere better. Alongside the access to an in house gym, cinema room and multiple study spaces, rooms vary within fairly set price ranges. As someone who has been living here for nearly 2 years (staying once more for my third) i can wholeheartedly say they are worth it. Other notable features include onsite laundry rooms for each building, car parks both exterior and underground as well as being set in a safe location. Students new to the city or country can expect to find themselves feeling welcomed and intertwined into the community almost immediately as staff members are always friendly and willing to engage. Alongside all of this, the location is amazing as it is based mere minutes away from numerous shops and takeaways, as well as being less than a 10 minute walk from the 50 bus stop, allowing easy and fast access to the inner city as well as MMU UCM and most BIMM Buildings By far the best decision I made was choosing to live here.

I stay here currently and I find it enjoyable and mainly safe to live in. However there are some concerns that need to be brought up. It can be quite worrying to see a lot of older people hanging around the dorms smoking and doing whoever knows what, when it it’s obvious they aren’t students of any university in the city. There was an incident on New Year’s Day where I went to collect a delivery to see a woman in her late 30’ early 40’s staring me down by the front door to the dorm building which made me feel a bit uneasy. The front doors on the apartments hardly work and don’t shut properly prompting all of us to be a bit on edge and when reported via the app there isn’t anything done about it. Maintenance requests take a very long time and are mainly ignored unless submitted multiple times. As of now we are currently waiting on getting an area of our bathroom fixed (it’s been just under a month of waiting) A couple of the maintenance staff are quite rude and snappy. I had an incident where my blind fell off the pole and I put a request in and it took nearly 2 days for them to get to me meaning my sleep was horrible. When I was seen to the maintenance man was very snappy and rude when I didn’t quite hear what he said. I think there needs to be more patrols are night just to make sure everything is safe and secure, that alone will put a lot of us at ease. Despite the negatives there are a lot of positives. The communal areas in block 3/4 are nice and clean and modern. The staff are mainly very nice however there are a couple of people there that when you walk in you don’t know what attitude you are in for. The rooms are very nice and spacious, quite homely and warm however the radiators aren’t the best. Some work and some don’t. I’m yet to figure out how to turn mine on. I do recommend staying here but some action does need to be taken to make sure EVERYONE feels comfortable and happy here.

Great student accommodation in a really good location for my brother. The place was clean, spacious and well presented the team of staff who showed us around were funny, friendly and made the viewing enjoyable. Would highly recommend.
