I an currently in my third year living here, throughout the past three years, all of the customer service advisors, managers, security staff, and cleaning staff have been incredibly kind and helpful. They genuinely made my experience of living in this building a very positive one. I also really enjoyed the cinema room where I could invite friends to watch films together, the study room was very convenient as I did not always need to go to billy b to study, which is HUGEEE. I have been living in a studio type room for all three years so of course the price is definitely on the expensive side. However, considering how clean and well maintained the building is, the friendly staff, the 24/7 securities, the nice and free gym, the cinema room, the study spaces and the frequent events organised for residents, I honestly think it is worth staying here.

I’ve been really disappointed with the front desk experience here. One of the reception staff members was extremely aggressive and unprofessional, shouting at students for no clear reason and telling people to leave even though they were simply with friends and not causing any disturbance. The way the situation was handled felt unnecessary and intimidating, especially in what is supposed to be a safe and welcoming student accommodation. The tone used was completely inappropriate and escalated a situation that didn’t need to be escalated at all. I was also uncomfortable with how certain international students were spoken to, which came across as unfair and disrespectful. This kind of behaviour reflects very poorly on the accommodation and seriously affects how comfortable students feel living here.

Terrible attitude by bald white man towards Chinese students. Kept saying phrases like “don’t give me attitude” when they were asking curiously and didn’t break any rules. I wasn’t even apart of it and it got my blood boiling and frustrated. This same person also loudly shouted at me across the reception desk to the lift, “Close the door”. I mentally jumped. The thing was that there was a person by the main entrance keeping it open (doesn’t even have anything to do with me). Apart from that, rest of receptionist are fine. Rent is crazy £348 for a studio next year (26/27). Great location though.
